The group identified two main priorities for the SPCPF over the next year.
v Engage primary care professionals in legislative/policy agenda.
· Participated in Cover the Uninsured planning 4/04
· Participated in Families USA Health Action national grassroots conference Jan.04
· Participated in an AHEC sponsored panel on Primary Care telecast to 5 university health professions programs/schools
v Coalition building
· Participated on HRSA BHPr Outcomes Workgroup
· Participated on advisory planning committee for National Primary Care Week
v Joint programs
· Discussions with HHS Fellowship staff about possible interface with the Fellowship vis a vis fellows selection, curriculum advisement, mentoring and updating and maintaining the database of fellows
v Develop relationships, visibility with legislative leadership
· Met with various legislative offices;
